We got to know Di well after she and Clive got together in Alonissos. We enjoyed many tsipouro evenings in tavernas with them and scenic walks around the island. Their leaving party was held at our house and  attended by nearly all of the island's ex-pats. Our loquat tree which Di grew from a seed produced more and more fruit each year and will always remind us fondly of her.
